That took way too long

Simple things - at least things that should be simple - take far more time when you have 2 kids. For example - the post previous to this one too 4+ hours to complete from start to finish because of all the interruptions. What normally would take maybe 15 minutes has been turned into an all day affair.
In between typing a few words an hour are the diapers, meals, rotating naps, solving crises, etc. For anyone thinking bout working at home please take into consideration that there will be no real time for working - it all goes to the kids 
I am finally able to get a few minutes in right now (uninterrupted) because everyone else is in bed. Simon got two more teeth today and has been rather fussy so I don’t expect him to be asleep long so I have to work quickly!
