Tecumseh’s last stand

Posted on September 21, 2007 in the Hiking category

So I said I would get some pictures of our hike up Mt. Tecumseh and I finally have them. These aren’t all the pictures, just a few of the good ones. On a special note, I made an executive decision to leave out the one of me watering the trees. The weekend of the 29th we will be hiking 4043 feet tall Pasaconaway - wish us luck.
About an hour up the trail (an hour for us, probably 30 minutes for most) is this look out from a ski trial on Waterville Valley Ski Area. The following picture is the view to the left.
The summit of Tecumseh is mostly trees though there is this small opening and view from a large boulder just shy of the peak.

These next three pictures are taken at the summit. I am the hobbit in picture one, Dave is the ogre. In picture two is Dave and his brother Brian and the last picture is of me and Brian.

Thank you - lets hope the kids don’t accelerate the aging process :)
