Some days you just have to be lazy

I should feel guilty - its nearly 5pm and me, my wife, and two children are still in our PJs.
While any given family on Labor Day travels hundreds of miles to visit some part of the country that was recently evacuated by some other family going on vacation, we are just enjoying a day of lounging. I was hoping that today would have been one of those cool rainy days that begs for this kind of activity but what makes us feel even more guilty is that there is not a cloud in the sky and its 80 degrees. These days are a rarity in New Hampshire in September.
Even still - the kids are having a good day hanging out and playing with mom and dad, and don’t look now, I am actually getting some work done too! It is a tough balance most weekends as this is the only time that I get to be productive with working at home but its also about the only time that the four of us spend together.
