I’ve been through the desert

Being from New Hampshire, one would think that there is not much use for desert boots. After all, our temperate climate offers 40+ inches of rain per year - last I checked one of the criteria used to describe desert conditions is the obvious lack of rain. If one was to assume that there are no deserts within three thousand miles of here, he or she would be incorrect as there is one less than 100 miles away . . . in Maine (no lie, look it up;)
