I never want to do that again

by Mathew

I just finished up making some behind the scenes changes to the website. Nothing that you will notice – changed root directory and where files are uploaded, etc. Something that I should have done from the start in order to keep a tidy server but didn’t think it was important at the time.

Now that I am starting several new websites (all on the same web space hosted by 1&1) things need to be organized in such a way that nothing gets overwritten when I update any given site.

Keep checking in for changes – I will soon be changing the template. Nothing too exciting, just making it a 3 column instead of two. Soon, I will also have a newsletter sign up option though I am not sure if it will be a monthly or bi-weekly newsletter.

You just gotta love dealing with the Outsourced 1&1 level 1 tech people, I know I do… Just escalate me to level 2 and send my case back to the states!
I always thought the root directory was something you pulled out when dealing with language barriers!
