Absolutely obsessed

Now that I have a decent blog going, I have been obsessed lately about traffic and page rank. I am always checking on various metrics and trying to improve things. Admittedly my effort is monetarily motivated to some extent, however, it has become a bit like a conquest for me.
Here it is passed midnight and I am still working on my layout (changed to 3 columns), adding new items (NEWSLETTER!!), and generally rearranging everything. I am also working on various ways to promote my site. So far the only money I have spent on the site is on hosting - no money has been spent for advertising and I am hoping to keep it that way (at least for a while). Believe me, I know that paid advertising can be great, but it has turned into a bit of a crusade for me to see how far free advertising can get me. Besides that - with 2 kids money is always tight.
