A blogger’s - I mean, a Postie’s dream . . .

In general, this blog was created as a personal outlet; however, I make no apologies that I welcome any revenue generated from my efforts. After all, what is better than doing something you enjoy and getting paid to do it?
Thats why I was ecstatic when I found PayPerPost.
PayPerPost is a website that makes monetizing your blog just about as easy as it can get. What happens is that they serve as a meeting point between bloggers and advertisers. An advertiser, looking to drive traffic to their website, will post an opportunity on PayPerPost which bloggers can choose to write about. In return, the blogger receives payment for the post which can range from $5 all the way to well over $200 for a single post. In this way, the blogger chooses what opportunity he/she wants to accept - of course adhering to any criteria set forth by the advertiser such as age of your blog, subject matter, Google Page Rank and Alexa score. To qualify for the higher payouts, your blog usually has to score well with Google and Alexa.
For those that do not yet have the clout to secure many opportunities, PayPerPost Direct an option. Here, an advertiser can browse the PayPerPost Directory in search of bloggers to post about their website or offer. Since the advertiser chooses the blogger in this case, a blog’s Google and Alexa scores do not matter.
I have not been doing this long - I have had only one PayPerPost Direct offer - but its a great way to interact with other bloggers. It kind of makes the blogosphere a bit smaller and more personal. I also love the idea that I could make an extra $500 or more every month with a little effort!
